Gary Lockwood has to work more at KJR, 950 kHz., long-term contract or not. This month he added an hour in the morning _ matching the 6-10 a.m. shift of other morning personalities.
On air, Lockwood gripes. From his home in Woodinville, he has a laconic third-person explanation: “Mr. Lockwood is making no comments to the press.”
But Lockwood surely won’t be content to just roll the hits.

A new morning man is scheduled to begin Monday on KQKT, 96.5 mHz. Jack Diamond, short-termer indeed, apparently was tempted back to his homeland, Jacksonville, Fla., where he previously worked. So KQKT has imported Rick Austin from KQKT’s sister station in Tucson, Ariz.
Austin is reported to have a variety of funny voices and features….
