Ai with a gentle touch can do amazing things to old or poor resolution photos and video. It can make faces and lines crisper. But one has to really watch it to make sure it is not turning a photo into a fake person. A little bit will do it. As far as Ai for research it sucks. It gets all this crap people have posted on line on a topic and often co-mingles details on different people with similar names.
