Cosby was all the rage for some time in the mid to late 1960s. Every talk show invited Bill Cosby. Of course he was the star of TV’s I SPY detective series with Robert Culp.

The KING 1090 studio–A package of Salem cigarettes and an ash tray, no concern about how smoke affected the equipment. We were lectured on some mysterious effect cigarette smoke has on wires and diodes by the engineers at radio stations we worked at. I guess second-hand smoke causes spurious emissions.

Bill Cosby Is A Very Funny Fellow was a comedy album that introduced us kids to Cosby-style stand-up. The photo with Ray Court was taken at the Space Needle studio.
