KBRD Olympia to move to 920 AM, plus FM coverage

680 KBRD has an announcement: WE ARE MOVING up the dial — Come July – date to be announced – KBRD moves to 920 AM and 106.5 FM. For a cleaner and stronger signal.

KNX/Los Angeles loses anchor Rob Archer after 10 years with that station. Archer previously worked at KFI radio. He has racked up 45 years in broadcasting, so far. May be time for a pause to consider the path forward.

YOU CAN GO HOME AGAIN… Mark Randall, former Regional Promotions Director (Denver/Phoenix/LV), moves to another Audacy outlet, as Promotions Director for the Audacy’s Sacramento group. Previous stops for Randall: KCXX/San Bernardino (Promotions Director), KFMA/Tucson (Promotions Director), and KUPD/Phoenix (Marketing/Promotions Director).

KGW Portland weekend weather girl, Daisy Caballero married Cody Eastwood May 16th at the Hotel Krystal Grand in Puerto Vallarta. She chose to walk away from her career this past weekend. After a break, she will announce future plans.

THE SHAPE OF THINGS TO COME: Paramount is rebranding the top tier of Paramount+ by adding the word “Premium” and dropping the Showtime reference…Streaming viewership surpassed the combined audience of broadcast and cable television for the first time in May 2025, according to Nielsen…FOR CHEAP! SiriusXM offers a 12-month plan for $4.99 per month…Still not interested…

The kids were complaining of slow Internet on the far-side of the house (not satisfied with 200 Mbps). Rather than purchase expensive wifi extenders, we swapped out the wifi router at the local Comcast store. These are the wifi numbers:
