Hi Jason –
It has been a while since I’ve written. This time it’s not Smitty’s Old Records, it’s Radio KING 1090.
I have a lot of stuff from my uncle, who used to work for KING TV in the 1960s. In that I found these plates that seem to be negatives for newspaper printing perhaps. I searched SPL newspaper archives and couldn’t find anything definitive.
Are these of value to anyone?
As far as I can determine, based on the timeslots for the DJs these plates are probably from the range of 1960-1964.

More like the 1950s----

Jason Remington says:
Probably all 1950s.
Jim French moved over to KIRO in 1959.
Frosty moved into the morning slot at KING when Ray Briem left for KLAC in LA in 1960. Frosty also took over host duties on KING TV’s Seattle Bandstand.
And a correction: That would be hydro icon Bill Muncey on the air 8:30 – 9:30. (encl)
–Bill Taylor figured it out.
I guess that increases the value of the plates!! -Jason
