Ian Cull is an award-winning journalist and multimedia reporter, recently appointed as the Assistant News Director at KXLY 4 News in Spokane (July 2025). He previously worked as a reporter and multimedia journalist at NBC Bay Area (KNTV) in San Jose, starting in June 2014. His work at NBC Bay Area included evening newscasts at 5, 6, and 11 p.m. Cull spent five years in central and eastern Washington as a “one-man band,” handling shooting, writing, voicing, and editing daily. He began his career as a news and sports anchor/reporter in Southern Utah and also worked as a reporter in Central Texas. A graduate of Gonzaga University with a degree in Broadcast Media, Cull attended Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma.
