Recent (April) add to AM 1000/97.7 was Chris Nguyen, but it has been confirmed by a station source that Nguyen is no longer with the company. Change happens.
Good news on two fronts– Jeff Pohjola isn’t going anywhere, although the midday slot will be taken over by Scott Carty soon. Carty is a major talent and will attract a good following to KNWN. (They don’t use the call letters often enough.)
In what capacity they will use Pohjola is to be announced.

Nguyen returned to the PNW for KOMO 4 tv news last December. In April, Nguyen jumped to NWNewsRadio. Now, a short 90 days later, word from a source at NWNewsRadio is that Nguyen is “no longer with the company.”
