After KING and before he headed to Portland, Ted Bryant graced the newsbooth at Channel 95.
His first job after graduation from college was at station KTNT-TV, Tacoma. He was an anchor/reporter at KING-TV, Seattle. In 1971 he joined KATU as an anchor/reporter. From 1973 to 1987 Ted was the news director of KOINTV and radio. Ted was affectionately known by those who worked with him at KOIN as ”The Big Bopper.” After leaving KOIN, he was a talk show host at KXL and news director of KOPB radio.
