2011–Snohomish powerhouse AM coming to 1520

April 2011–KKXA call letters have been issued for the new station licensed to Snohomish, dial position 1520 kHz. KKXA is to sign on later this summer. The station will operate from one tower non-directional daytime at 20 kW and directional at 50 kW night and at critical hours. The station will be housed at the KRKO studios in Everett.
