My money is on Ed Hume. He took over the KIRO radio gardening program when Cecil Solly died in 1965 and then started in TV the following year. He moved to Channel 5 in 1969.

I don't believe this is a picture of a young Harry Wappler. The ears don't look like Harry's. So, who is this??? Some old-timer may be able to figure this out.
