I want to address my arrest.
My daughter Callie is a full blown weed addict.
She smokes morning noon and night.
Yesterday she was in withdrawal and demanding money.
I said no.
She came over to my house uninvited.
We got into a physical fight because she wouldnt leave
I kept trying to tell her to calm down but she wouldn’t.
After Callie finally left I called my ex-wife.
She was terrified and asked me to come over because she was scared
that callie was going to try to hurt her too.
By the time I got there Callie had called the police.
They arrested me even though Callie told them she didn’t want to press charges.
I love my daughter more than anything in the world.
I would never deliberately try to hurt her.
But bad things happen in battle.
I can only hope my daughter gets treatment.
And FYI I’m 9 months clean.
And I was completely sober yesterday.
In fact my girlfriend and I were just about to leave for the gym.
The Oakland Police Department said it is investigating an assault that occurred Monday just before 5:45 p.m….When officers arrived on the scene, the suspect arrived as they were speaking with the victim, OPD said. The suspect was taken into custody shortly after, the department said.
According to the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office inmate records, Somerville is out on bail, but additional details about his arrest are not available. Jail records viewed by Bay Area News Group showed that Somerville was held in the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin until Tuesday morning on suspicion of battery with serious bodily injury, the news outlet reported.
