Mr. Buckley is principal owner of Buckley Broadcasting group, licensee of WDRC AM & FM Hartford, Conn., WWTC Minneapolis-St. Paul, KGIL San Fernando, Calif. and KKHI AM & FM San Francisco. Messrs. Goodson and Todman, principals of Seattle Broadcasting Co., purchased KOL AM & FM in 1963 for $850,000. KOL operates fulltime on 1300 kc with 5 kw.
KOL FM is on 94.1 FM with 5 kw.
KYMN Oregon City, Ore.: Sold by Republic Broadcasting Inc., principally owned by John C. Hunter, Kenneth Palmer and associates, to J. Elroy McCaw for $980,000 – Mr. McCaw is president of and stockholder in Central Broadcasting Corp. (KELA Centralia-Chehalis, and KTVW [TV] Tacoma, both Washington). Messrs. Hunter, Palmer and group own KIMN Denver. KYMN operates on 1520 kc with 50 kw days and 10 kw nights.
