Radio Notes: Pat O’Day, Jodesha upgrade, LibTalk, 1680 fires up

June 2013 – In an interview with Mimi (KING 5) Jung, 79-year old Seattle broadcast legend Pat O-Day tells about being dropped from the team calling the Seafair hydro races and his operation last June to remove a benign brain tumor.

April 2010 – Jodesha Broadcasting, Inc. has applied to the FCC to move KLSY-FM 107.9 South Bend to Cosmopolis at 107.3 MHz with a transmitter location change from 46-41-44 123-46-17 to 46-56-0 123-43-57. If approved, ERP will increase from 790 watts directional to 3700 watts non-directional with a reduction in HAAT from 276 to 114 meters. FCC data

February 2005 – KGMI AM 790 Bellingham adds local liberal talk.

March 14, 2003 – KTFH AM 1680 Seattle is now on-air testing. As per all U.S. expanded band stations, power is 10 kW day/1kW night. Transmitter location is 47-39-20 122-31-5.
