The long awaited power increase to 50 kw for KJR AM 950 Seattle underwent final testing during the first week of January.

The FCC has granted application by Family Stations Inc. to modify the license from commercial to non-commercial for KARR AM 1460 Kirkland.

The FCC has granted the application for assignment of license for KBLE AM 1050 from HHH Broadcasting Inc. to Sacred Heart Radio Inc. KBLE returned to the air Jan. 20 with a satellite all Catholic format from EWTN Global Catholic Network.

The FCC has granted voluntary assignment of licenses for KELA AM 1470 Centralia-Chehalis and KMNT FM 102.9 Centralia, plus several other WA stations from Jacor Broadcasting of Washington, Inc. to Citicasters Licenses Inc.
