A gala affair in Goldendale Saturday night was the annual Tolo dance given by the Girls’ League in the cafeteria room of Goldendale High School. The theme was “Music to Remember You By” and Paul Berg, disc jockey from radio station KLOQ in Yakima, was present to play records and entertain with chit-chat. Decorations were paper figures representing the new song hits fastened on the walls.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 1. (AP) — The federal communications commission today authorized the transfer of control of radio station KLOQ at Yakima to William E. Shela and Warren J. Dunham for $224,201.
