The event, trimmed just a bit to fit “PM Tacoma’s” two-hour bloc, will feature Tacoma VIPs as actors. It is staged by Solstice Performance Arts, a group which does similar events at resorts and private parties.

Art Popham, radio host, said at an intermission _ actually the cocktail hour for participants at the hotel _ listeners can call in to ask questions of the suspects.

“I have been assured that the event translates quite well into a radio show,” Popham said.

(The Tacoma station’s signal does not extend into Seattle’s North End.)
