Saga just received permission to run their new FM translator on 97.9 with 250 watts. Their first attempt on 97.3 resulted in complaints to the FCC from KIRO after they received a number of complaints from Bellingham listeners, and KPUG shut the translator off. Somehow those awesome old PAMS jingles that sang Eleven-Seven K-P-U-G just dont sound right when you substitute 97.9
