Not a clue as to what happened with Tom Glasgow when the recent shakeup happened at KOMO radio. No word yet on his next project.
The new owners of KIRO 7 Seattle and other COX stations, Apollo Group, may be scooping up some of the Meredith Broadcasting stations. The sale has been proposed and the companies are in talks, although this is NOT a done deal. More media consolidation is on the way. These mergers will inevitably affect the Seattle market, in either mergers, station swaps and/or affiliation swaps.
Jerry Berg updates us on the Celebration of Life planned in honor of Frosty Fowler. Frosty passed away in early April of this year. The Celebration of Life is planned for July 16th, 2019, which would have been Frosty’s 97th birthday.
