The event took place Saturday, September 20, 2025. There was a lot of great talent in the room. Hours of good fun, stories, and good laughs…

I entered the venue while NEAL DARROW was relaying a wild story to RANDY ROADZ

This awesome pic is NEAL DARROW at KDFL/SUMNER in 1965

PAM SOWERS related a story of her brother working sunrise to sunset, playing the tunes at KASY/AUBURN in 1963.

RALPH KOAL, DEREK SHANNON, MARK ALLEN

RANDY ROADZ put this shindig together. Everyone had a good time! It was a pleasure meeting new members to the group and seeing old friends.

BRYCE THOMPSON with LOU MILLS. LOU is a professor from TEXAS TECH. Who knew BRYCE could print so nicely in reverse?

Introductions all around. Thanks to LOU MILLS for some great pics!

Remember PETER TALBOT from KTAC FM? (TALBOT with the mustache.) Robert O. Smith was instrumental in choosing the FM team.

Thanks to Randy Roadz for putting together another fabulous meet-up. If you missed it–you missed out. Be with us next time!

  • The Dream-- or that nightmare. You are working at a radio station, on-the-air, your record is running out and there are no other records available to play, and no commercials in the rack!! You are the newsman but the AP wire has no paper, and there is no paper in the building. Dreams similar to these are experienced by everyone (in radio) that I have spoken to.
