Regarding a post here on November 25th, 2021. The post has been updated with correct info regarding Kara’s reason for leaving the Sinclair station. — Kara Kostanich is leaving KOMO 4. Sinclair does not want freelancers or parttimers. Kostanich had requested a part time schedule to spend more time with family, but it doesn’t fit the Sinclair plan. Kara’s last day at KOMO is Sunday (November 28).

  • Nice lady. I met her during a Seahawks rally.

She just had a baby recently. I hope she is able to find more flexible employment. KOMO/Sinclair is losing a good one.

  • Sounds like "leaving to spend more time with family" is true this time.
