Darby Sparks – KUTV/Salt Lake City

Investigative Reporter for KUTV news in Salt Lake City, had the anchor position for the Sunday morning newscast today. Darby Sparks joined the KUTV news team as an investigative reporter in August 2022. Prior to coming to SLC, Darby worked in Davenport, Iowa where she spent two years as an investigative reporter and weekend morning anchor for KWQC news. Before that she worked for WTAJ in Altoona, Pennsylvania for two years as a general assignment reporter. Darby Sparks grew up in Boise, Idaho and is a graduate of Boise State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Media Studies. She is following in the footsteps of both of her parents who also pursued careers in the broadcast industry. Her mother worked at KUTV in the 1980’s. (Darby Sparks – KUTV/Salt Lake City)
