Longtime Pacific Northwest radio & tv fans may recall that KCRA, was once owned by Kelly Broadcasting Company. Kelly owned KCRA-TV and KQCA in Sacramento/Stockton. Kelly Broadcasting sold the California stations to Hearst-Argyle Television in 1999.
Kelly purchased Tacoma’s KCPQ (1980–1998) from Clover Park School District, and Channel 13 became an independent station once again. Click here for the complete history of KMO-KTVW-KCPQ Tacoma.
