Well, if I were 30 years younger, I'd apply for this job. Way back in 1968, I enjoyed filling in for Don Meighan in KNDU's one-person newsroom during my summer break from college. Those were the days of NBC's Huntley Brinkley report, with Chet in New York and David in D.C. So when KNDO/KNDU did the evening news, it was Frank Roberts in Yakima and Meighan in Tri-Cities, switching back and forth just like the network anchors. I thought it was cool!
