Correct me if I am wrong, they changed the name of the contest prior to the debut in January. We know it as Name It & Claim It, not Number It & Claim It. KJR may have fudged the rules also, I don’t recall that being part of the game.

KJR Radio Promotion
KJR radio will also initiate on the first the new radio game, “Number It and Claim It.” To play the game listeners will phone in to identify the tune being played and also tell the number in which it appears in numerical position on the KJR-P.I. Fabulous Fifty. Winners will claim the particular recording being aired. The game will be played hourly, 6 a.m., until 9 p.m.
