Tom Read picks up a nice chunk of change with the sale of 106.5 KSPO Dishman/Spokane from Read’s Liberty Broadcasting System and simulcaster 101.3 KGDN Pasco/Kennewick/Richland for $1.3 million.

Steve Grillo, a former intern on “The Howard Stern Show,” has written a self-published tell-all memoir entitled “Gorilla Parts” that shares behind-the-scenes details about working for Stern. He will be a guest on the Anthony Cumia show, Sunday evening at 5pm Pacific Time on 77 WABC/New York. Howard Stern got woke a few years ago and has become a real bore. Cumia opens the phones this week and has been told by WABC’s GM to “take the gloves off.” It’s a new day and maybe radio is growing a pair. We shall see.
