KCPQ 13 has paused Washington’s Most Wanted, hosted by David Rose, and The Divide, hosted by Brandi Kruse. The two news features, may return once new management is in place and up to speed. Earlier, we reported that Q13 News management was shuffling the deck chairs, with a new General Manager moving into position and Jake Wiederrich subbing as Acting Assistant News Director. The News Director position is currently vacant. ND Erik Breon has been on extended medical leave since March. For all the commotion behind the scenes, Q13 continues to put out quality newscasts.

New Day Northwest has a new producer. Rebecca Perry moves from the news side to the KING 5 morning program.
“It’s a New Day…. for me. So grateful for the opportunity to work with this pretty lady and the awesome & creative
@NewDayNW team. Thanks for having me!!”

Danamarie McNicholl ready for the next big adventure…

It’s crazy to think it’s my last week at @krem2 . It’s hard to put into words what my time at this station has meant to me both professionally and personally. Looking back at these moments will forever bring me so much joy and happiness.

Pacific Public Media’s translator K288GG 105.5 Mt. Vernon will relocate to Anacortes after recent authorization from the FCC. To be licensed as K286DA, the translator will transmit on 105.1 with 15 watts from a tower on Mt. Erie. The translator rebroadcasts Pacific Public Media’s 88.5 KNKX/Tacoma.

  • One of the few remaining GREAT shows on TV is THE DIVIDE with Brandi Kruse - - - and now it is gone! ?
I understand that with new management new programming needs to be considered - - - - BUT this show is amazing. Ms. Kruse is one of the VERY FEW on tv that attempts to present an unbiased look at local events/people/programs. She has a very unique way of presenting BOTH sides of issues affecting those in her viewing and listening areas.
    PLEASE bring back The Divide!!!

  • WMW shows the reality of crime in the area. It also provides a public service and has solved many crimes. Just like Live PD, showing where crime is doesn't fit the narrative. True reporting takes a back seat to the optics in newsrooms in every major city. Wokeness is more important even though it isn't based in reality.
