KING 5 Evening Magazine’s Kim Holcomb announces:
It feels surreal to post this but I’m making a major life change: I’ve decided to not renew my contract and I’m leaving KING & Evening. I’m so proud of everything I’ve accomplished during my almost 18 years at the station, and I’m eternally grateful for every viewer who’s watched and supported our show. But, a lot has changed in the past 1.5 years and I feel like it’s time to step away, move forward and try something different (which sounds like a weird jig but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.) I’m not sure what comes next, but I’m thrilled to find out! Thanks for being a part of my little life.
Thanks to EstoyListo for the heads up on this story!

Will miss Kim. Who is bigger disappointment King 5 or Mariners.
Mariners. They are a garbage franchise. I wish Stanton would sell to an owner that cares about winning.
For someone like Kim to leave after so many years at a job she loves --- there must be a problem at KING 5 no one is speaking about.
Going on what the stated hiring objectives of KING 5 are, Kim's "exit" comes as no surprise. I always thought she did a good job and was largely responsible for it's success.
So sorry to see Kim leaving KING 5. She is a fabulous member of the evening trio and her comments are well said. She is polished, professional and charming as an evening television host. Best Wishes in the future Kim!
Pay her and give her whatever she wants. She is an asset you can not afford to lose.
Oh I will miss her! All The Best!!
Evening Mag will not survive without Kim.Ive watched her every day since I moved to the Seattle area over 20 years ago. Goodbye Kim my family will miss seeing your face on TV, good luck in your new endeavor.
Sorry to see Kim go. She’s always been one of my favorites.
