Mark K Miller at TV News Check is reporting that Cox Media Group’s KIRO-7 has appointed a new VP-GM to replace the retiring Greg Bilte.  Pat Nevin, who is no newcomer to our region assumes the posts effective the end of June.  Nevin brings with him 30 years of experience in local broadcasting. He began his career at KHQ-TV in Spokane, Wash., next was Sales Manager at KSTW-TV from 1995-97 before beginning a successful 14-year career at Fox Broadcasting. Most recently, Nevin was VP-GM of TV combo KOIN-KRCW Portland. Pat is a graduate of WSU where he serves on the university’s Edward R. Murrow College of Communications Advisory Board.
