News/talk 97.3 KIRO-FM is launching a new daily podcast “COVID-19: Seattle Podcast” to keep Pacific Northwest & Wash. state residents educated & informed on the virus & latest news surrounding it, including directives from civic, state & federal officials. The podcast will be hosted by KIRO 40-year veteran Dave Ross and station reporter Aaron Granillo. The program will be released each afternoon, and a daily “COVID-19” email newsletter is also available for the same information. KIRO PD Bryan Buckalew told Radio Online: “I couldn’t be more excited about this project. I think Dave Ross, with his decades of news experience, and Aaron Granillo, with his reporter’s sensibility, are uniquely capable of examining the effects of the coronavirus pandemic as it expands in Washington state and across the nation.” Subscribe to the podcast at: MyNorthwest.com/category/podcasts & the newsletter at: MyNorthwest.com/Newsletter
