Imagine your air shift starting at 3am like poor Henry J.
Henry was a good friend of mine. Anyone know what happened to him? I know he worked in concert promotions for a while. K106 did have some odd scheduling as did KTAC-FM. I have some K106 airchecks somewhere which includes Slim, Jerry Hill, Kevin McBride, Mark Pierce doing an add for "top of the ocean". If I can only find them. My Wolfman Jack aircheck from K106 live at city hall got ruined. If FM radio only sounded this good today.
If you want to share these airchecks, shoot me a link. I wonder if some of the former KLAY jocks still have their old airchecks and would like to share with us.
Was that DJ Kevin? Sure sounds like him. He is on Friday and Saturday nights on http://www.nwczradio.com ch.2 (pardon the plug)
Sorry Ed.....Not me Kevin McBride..........
Maybe Ron Ready? My memory is fading. Good music.
Does anybody have some Bruce Bond from back in the K106 era? I'd love to hear it.
