98.5 KNBQ (All-Christmas music) Josh Broadcasting. -CENTRAL PARK
A division of Jodesha Broadcasting, owners of several Aberdeen stations, including KBKW. KNBQ took to the air in April 2015, stunting with all-Christmas music as North Pole Radio. Testing of KOMO FM audio on KNBQ 98.5 the last two weeks of September 2016 and a return to Christmas music in early October.
KOMO broadcasts on the [former KFMY] signal 97.7 FM. The KOMO-FM license is still held by Greg Smith and his South Sound Broadcasting. He also owns SunnyLands, and is a partner in JOSH. * If testing went well, I predict KVI will soon announce their new FM 98.5 — Possibly with a target date as early as Election Day, November 8th.
