Appearing in newspaper ads in 1970, were a series of jock promos, like this one. Marc Taylor, who had previously worked at KPUG/Bellingham, KMCM/McMinnville, and KGME/Chehalis, was one of the featured personalities. Bill Ogden (Marc Taylor) tells me that the ads also appeared on billboards throughout Pierce County. At the time the ads appeared, KTAC was battling KJR for top ratings in Pierce County, with KTAC often coming out ahead of KJR.

I wonder if anyone has a promo copy of "what ever happened to bobby simon?" that KTAC ran for the whole month and a half before returning to KOL? I noticed the phrase "so if you have been dissatisfied with his salt free substitute"
