Les Tremayne, a notable figure in the entertainment industry, was a guest speaker in Seattle. Appearing in the Shazam TV series at the time of this event, Mr. Tremayne was known for his roles in radio shows such as “Adventures of the Thin Man” and “Romance of Helen Trent,” and over 30 movies, including “War of the Worlds” in 1953, “Say One for Me” in 1959, and “North By Northwest.” Tremayne was also recognized for his distinctive voice, which placed him among the three most memorable voices on American radio, alongside Bing Crosby and Franklin Roosevelt.
