I remember very well Loni Smith at KMO. Jim French was a wedding guest and his missus was a bridal attendant. Was the Dr. Scholl's ad a trade-out for special champagne luster Zino Pads to complement the bride's footwear?
So Jack Morton moved from KMO to KVI when Buddy Weber went to KOMO? The 1960 Broadcasting Yearbook shows J. Arch Morton as KMO's President, General Manager and Commercial Manager. Is that Jack Morton?
The Yearbook also shows 1480 as KFHA but mistakenly lists it as licensed to the other Lakewood in Snohomish County.
Right. 1480 should have been KFHA. I don't know who put the radio section together for the Tribune, but from the many errors I have seen, it may have been assigned to various copywriters on a rotational basis.
J Arch was Jack Morton's father.
I didn't know there was another Lakewood. Hopefully, it is not as ghetto as the one south of Tacoma.
Clay Huntington started his FM station, KLAY, around this time and both he and Win McCracken moved over from KMO to KLAY.

KAYG Lakewood? The call letters should be KFHA.
Note: KTAC lists a program Highway 850 and KTNT lists Highway 1400. I believe KTAC was first with the title. Why one would copy the other? Maybe an error by the Trib.
