WCBS was one of the first stations in the nation to switch to the “new” Oldies format (1972). In this aircheck, it’s what you would expect from a major market monster like WCBS.

This is a great presentation of the music with popular personalities Dick Heatherton and Norm N. Nite (Norman Durma).

Thanks very much for the spotlight
    Greatly appreciated.
    Best

    • WCBS - A Top 40 personality presentation of Oldies, much different than most Oldies stations, which were dependent more on jingles and gimmicks. This is the way it should have been done.
