Paris Jackson has posted that she has signed off from KOMO 4. What she has planned is unknown at this time. Paris graduated Bellarmine Prep in Tacoma and Washington State University’s Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. Paris spent the last seven years at KOMO.

In 2018, Jackson shared with the KOMO viewers, her journey through a breast cancer battle. Paris Jackson was most recently, the morning news traffic reporter at Channel 4.

There is a traffic reporter position open at KOMO 4 in Seattle.

KOMO wasted not a minute removing Paris’ info from their website.

Hmmmm. There’s the door, have a nice day.

Was this her choice to leave? Did KOMO provide a box for Paris to take her belongings home?

The broadcast industry is a cold, cruel world.

We wish her well.

  • Paris Jackson was delightful & a breath of refresh air each day we tuned in to Komo. Paris is a shining light that's now missing from your staff! God's richest blessings to Paris and her family. Blessings also to the Komo staff as they all do some soul searching. Praying for better days ahead!!!

  • Dear Paris:

We no longer watch KOMO News since we found out you left!

We know your amazing talent for reporting and beauty and intelligence will find the perfect outlet for you.

But selfishly we miss you 💔😪💖💙💙💙💙🇱🇷 A 1994 Mom and Dad Bellarmine Alumn 💙🙏

    • Usually, when a woman takes maternity leave, they return to the station and continue their career. On the other hand, it appears Paris may have chosen to spend more time with her new baby and family. Little is known about her future plans. Paris has been absent from social media since August 18th.

  • Miss you Paris Jackson you where a bright spot In the morning. Miss you good luck with what ever you choose.

  • I miss Paris Jackson. I thought she was wonderful. I want to send my best wishes and I am truly sorry she is no longer with you. She enriched the news.

  • I looked forward to Paris's reporting of our Seattle traffic and was one of the reasons I chose to view KOMO in the morning. Paris was very professional and personable. I believe her presence in the newsroom was a much needed representation of diversity that I find missing in her absence. I wish Paris the absolute best in her future endeavors whatever they may be. Many blessings!

  • So sorry to hear she's no longer with KOMO. It does seem KOMO has a lot of staffing changes. It doesn't pay to get too comfortable if you work there.

  • So sorry that Paris Jackson has left KOMO! She was one of the only people on the week day morning show I could listen to any more. Time to switch stations.

  • I am very sorry to hear that Paris is gone and it looks like lots of changes at KOMOTV and not such good ones. I hope she finds what she is looking for and we all went thru her cancer with her and was glad when she was able to return to work. I am not sure the company SINCLAIR Broadcasting is what we in Seattle are for.

    • Totally agree! I turned on to watch her & Seth. With both of them gone not crazy about the rest of the weekday crew.

  • I will not view KOMO again. Love you Paris. Move forward and do well for yourself.

    • UNFORTUNATELY IN ALL BUSINESSES AND CORPORATIONS EMPLOYEES ARE JUST A NUMBER NOTHING.MORE.
