From Jerry O’Day’s Facebook page — A big week for my father. His birthday is September 24th, he would have been 86 years young. 20 members of the O’Day family will be boarding a yacht at Elliott Bay to fulfill his last request: His ashes will be placed at the mouth of the Duwamish river. He said he wanted to float past the location of KJR and on to the Puget Sound! Ironically, I received a message from Keith Shipman (President of the Washington State Association of Broadcasters) saying that the WSAB will be making Pat a “Hall of Fame” member. Thank you Brian Kelly and Karen for help in making my father’s last journey happen.
