Peter Alexander and Alison Starling hosted the White House News Photographers Association gala on September 10th.

Before NBC News, Alexander worked as the lead reporter and substitute evening anchor at KCPQ-TV/Seattle. Prior to KCPQ-TV, Alexander worked at KHQ-TV in Spokane, WA. and WKYT-TV in Lexington, KY.

Alison is a seven-time Emmy Award-winning anchor, she has been with 7News since January 2004. Alison came to 7News from KIRO-TV in Seattle, where she spent three years as a reporter and anchor.

Peter Alexander and Alison Starling married in 2012, they have two daughters.
