On file with the FCC is a license granted & a CP issued for KTLF-TV channel 22 Seattle in 1968. A previous application for channel 22 by King’s Garden Inc., owners of Christian stations 630 KGDN & 105.3 KGFM in 1964 was withdrawn. Although I have no information on the KTLF-TV application, a comment from reader John Fortmeyer may shed more light on this application: ” In the late 1960s or early 1970s — I remember the “Seattle Times” doing a pretty long cover story in its weekly TV section on a group of some followers of Mahareshi Mahesh Yogi and their plans to get a station going on ch 22.” There are no indications KTLF-TV was built or made it on air. Do any of our readers have any info on this mystery station grant?
