Subbing for Jason Rantz at 770 KTTH, Tim Gaydos. Gaydos is Chaplain of the Seattle Mariners, (as well as for the Seattle Sounders FC). Gaydos is also a freelance host at the KIRO radio station group (Bonneville-Seattle). He’s not a player, coach, or front-office executive in baseball operations, but he provides spiritual support and pastoral care to players, coaches, staff, and their families. As for his radio presentation, Gaydos is a good fit for the Conservative Talk format, although he says he considers himself an Independent.
Is talkradio simply an echo chamber for like-minded listeners? Remember when talk show hosts took listener phone calls?

Flipping over to 97.7 KNWN “Northwest NewsRadio”, Denise Whitaker is reporting on seasonal coughs and colds and the importance of washing those hands. Ho hum. Follow that with a holiday-themed consumer report from Herb Weisbaum and you have a snooze fest during afternoon drivetime. Marina Rockinger reports the news this afternoon-evening. Aaron Wright has the day off.
