    The first oldies station I ever heard, KKIS Pittsburg.

    I'm listening right now to KABL 960, in the air everywhere since 1959.

    AM radio, frequency response 0-5000 cycles, sure sounded good back then.

  • In 1959, KTAC carried the Del Courtney variety show which originated in San Francisco over KSFO.
