Politicians, celebrities and viewers at home have criticized Kimmel’s suspension, calling it a violation of free speech.
Some Disney shareholders want to know why Disney suspended Kimmel and are asking for documents related to the decision, along with any materials on how his removal has affected Disney’s revenue. Disney’s market cap plummeted by $6.4 billion between last Thursday and this Monday.

I’m keeping Disney+. “Why,” you ask? “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” got me into that streamer; it’s my #1 Disney+ show. Its final season remains my #2 streaming show of 2023 between “Power Rangers Cosmic Fury” at #1 and the final season of “Star Trek: Picard” at #3. I honestly don’t give a darn if “Cosmic Fury” and “HSMTMTS” are worse than “Picard," nor do I give a darn if Disney+ is “trash;” I’m so hyped for “Camp Rock 3."
