-Jim in Seattle writes: I read and commented on your excellent article posted Feb 7 about Black and White to Color TV in our region. You may find this bumper sticker interesting: I ‘inherited’ it from my Mother.

After I ‘received’ that sticker (and others) I searched online for photos of Stu and found only the attached. I don’t recall this particular program by its name, so it may have been televised elsewhere.

Mom had the ‘Midas touch’ on her rotary dial telephone and she won dozens of contests over the years. The stations would often include a sticker or a pin with her prize. There were many others, but their stickum had turned to goo, so I tossed them.
