TEGNA’s Jim Rose, president & GM in Seattle announces via Twitter the hiring of a new News Director to oversee KING-5 & KONG-16 news teams.  Northern California native Peter Saiers begins on June 24.  Peter comes to the Northwest from San Fransisco’s  KGO-TV & also has tenure in that market’s KPIX-TV & KBCW-TV & at Sacramento’s KOVR-TV
