  • Switched to Kiro when you left king 5. Now that you’re gone switching channels again. Miss you

  • Good luck you you. AlwYs enjoyed your reports. Enjoy sleeping in and your retirement.

    • Tracy Taylor is definitely a GREAT loss to the Kiro 7 news team. She always seemed down to earth and a real people person. I hope her leaving was a choice she made freely and not one she was forced to make. She is greatly missed. Wish her luck.

      • Tracy is just one of a multitude of media people quitting the business over working conditions, pay or lack of work/life balance. As for work/life balance, when did that become a thing? The 80s? It wasn't a problem in the 1950s when mom took care of the home and dad went to work. Things got out of hand. $$ greed, taxation, envy, dependence on credit, lifestyle, throw-away marriage, divorce, materialism.

  • Tracy Taylor, I will miss you terribly. You are, and always will be, the ray of sunshine in the day. A great reporter is hard to come by and you are one of the very best. Take care and best wishes to you and yours.

  • Oh Tracy,
My husband and I just love you, it won’t be the same without you at Kiro channel 7. My husband said we will watch another channel from now on.
I am so sad you are leaving. We always looked forward to your cheerful, rapid fire traffic reports, even though we are both now retired. You have done a lot of great reporting over the years.
    We will miss you.

  • Thanks for the nice words and write up!
I’m excited to start seeing more green than red. Lights that is..

  • All the best, Tracy. Good on you for taking care of yourself.

  • Seems like a good person. I have a feeling this move wasn't her choice.

    • I remember when my wife and I were celebrating my college graduation on a Dinner Train out of Renton years ago. I was ran into two or three times by Joyce Taylor just proving that you can also be interrupted by a "celebrity". She did politely apologize. ;)

    • Likely as good a time as any, to bail...the local TV personality scene is more bleak, every day...So I seldom tune in to the local news anymore....News and weather is better on radio!

      • I loved watching Tracy Taylor. She is down to earth and normal. Between she and Nick, they made the weather and traffic fun to watch. What a loss for Kiro 7 but I wish her the best. We still have Nick!
