  • Early Newsbeat--That was the title of the evening newscast, split by the CBS Evening News with Walter Cronkite, and then again at 11, Newsbeat.

    • While KOMO aired a 30-minute 11 p.m. News Final, KING had a 30-minute World Today ---KIRO had an open-ended, approx. 5-minute newscast at 11p.m. called Newsbeat. (June 1963)
