Transfer of ownership of radio station KXRN Renton, to Harold Ridals and William L. Simpson of Seattle was announced by the Federal Communications Commission in Washington yesterday. The corporate control was transferred for $49,500, the Associated Press reported.
Ridals has been general manager and Simpson sales manager of station KRSC here. They purchased all stock of the Interlake Broadcasting Company, operator of KXRN, from Robert S. McCaw and Velva Dickinson Fuller.
Both will resign from KRSC when they take control of the Renton station December 1. Elroy McCaw, owner of KRSC will act as general manager. Warren Durham will become sales manager. Ridals said the Renton stations call letters will be changed to KLAN. It will continue to broadcast on the same frequency.
