NEILSEN MARKET RANKINGS – Revised chart has Seattle-Tacoma moving up a notch to the #11th spot.

    Very few true “locals” left in local TV.
    Using a site like Patch.com is probably easier, more timely, and a bit less biased. Does not bode well for local TV.

      TV & movies on demand, including current flicks playing at the theaters, leaves little demand for local channels or cable tv. Channels a la carte and free, beat cable and OTA. Times are changing. News is available online with varying degrees of reality, same as local tv news.
