Kaila LaffertyKaila Lafferty, anchor/reporter for the Home Team-KING 5, has quit tv news for what she describes as “a new career in the communications realm with typical hours and a work environment that allows me to be more present for my family.” This usually translates into a communications specialist/public relations gig with a fed, state, municipality operation or other local agency. The goal is a retirement plan, health benefits, and regular hours. “More quality time with family.” The announcement will come sometime following her final appearance on KING 5 today.
