With these meaningless earth-shaking changes at CNN and MSNBC, I think of all the people, including myself, who’ve been fired from broadcasting jobs. Bad ratings = lower ad revenue = on-air changes. Easy math.
The voices you know, the faces you know, they’re why you tune in, and the first ones to go.
I and those stations went on about our business. I changed employers and they changed employees.
I can proudly say that every station I worked for went on to become non-existent.
